Lene Sangster

       I have taught after-school ceramics at various Seattle public schools (Madrona, McGilvra & John Stanford International) for many years. One of the things that I love about teaching at different schools is that they are all unique and have their own character.
 

        Each school year I run three sessions in the Fall, Winter & Spring with students ranging from kindergarten through fifth grade. I plan each lesson around developing basic clay skills through themed project that enable the students to build their own creations from their imaginations. Returning students build on skills already acquired.

 

My goal is to give students a fun and
educational afternoon in a friendly and inclusive environment.
